If you fish with a float, and you don't use a slip float,
you are really limiting your possible success. nearly all floats
sold today can be fished as a slip float, most
people do not use this option, for the simple reason they have no pretied
slip float knots, these knots can cost a dollar for five, they can not
be reused, and they must be put on the line, before you tie your hooks,
or weights on.
The
EZ knot float stop. can be applied at any time, and they are free. Take
a separate piece of fishing line, and just tie the EZ Knot around your
main line, where you would like your float to stop, but this knot will
slide, only when you want it to, to any place on your line, if you would
like to change your fishing depth. Cut your knot tags a little long so
they can catch your float, you may use any size fishing line you need for
this knot, it will all depend on how big the slip hole, in the float is,
in most cases the same size as the line on your real works fine.
Being able to cast long distances, and fish in deep water with a float, is a real winner. Always use a slip float, for float fishing.
The EZ knot is worth the price, if you only use it for this one knot
