Trophy Bass, normally, don't "chase" lures
Ask any Florida "Trophy" BASS GUIDE, he will tell you, "live bait" for the HOGS, something they can eat without expending much energy. The Guides use huge live baits, so the smaller bass will not hit them, and waste their time, and their 1 dollar + live minnows.
