Hooks/lures & terminal tackle

1. Put the line through hook or lure, then double the line, and lay across the tool. placing your thumb on top of the doubled line, holding it to the tool.
2. Take the end of the line (about 10 inches), then run it down through the end notch, and under the center prong, as you make four wraps "towards" the back of the tool.
3. While holding the wraps in place with your index finger, slide the end of the line under the wraps, from the back, towards the front, along the grove on the bottom of the tool.
4. Slide the knot from the tool, and pull the end of the line hard against the doubled line in the back, this pulls the knot up tight on the line.

This looks a lot harder, than it actually is, you can do this faster than almost any other standard fishing knot.  It is simply the EZ knot slip loop, just putting your lure, hook or terminal tackle on the line before tying the loop.  The treble hook shown above, is hooked in the rear notch of the tool, but this is not required, it can be hanging down from the tool, even in a huge loop of line, as the knot will slip up to the lure, without wasting any line

The loop shown at the top of the tool is just what you have while you are sending the end of the line under the four wraps you have made on the tool, there is a large grove under the tool for the end of the line to go through, you can even hit it in the dark.  The trick to this is keeping your index finger on

the wraps,as you have to release the line, to go around the main line with your hand.  After you have slid the end of the line under the wraps, just pull the knot off the end of the tool, while gently pushing it off with the index finger .  Pull the knot up tight, then slide the knot down to your lure, cut the tag, and you are set.

This knot takes less than 10 seconds to tie.
