Hooks can be tied two ways, one, the standard EZ knot lure knot, or they can be EZ snelled.  The EZ Snell can be done is a number of ways. You can go through the eye of the hook with the line, then place the hook on top of the tool as shown, making your wraps around the hook.  You can just lay the hook on top of the tool, without going through the eye, then make your wraps around the hook.
